BREAST CANCER TREATMENT DECISION AID
Tool developed in collaboration with UZ Leuven, to help breast cancer patients decide which of the various available treatment options, to follow.
This tool provides interactive information on disease, treatments, benefit-risks, quality of life and the trade-offs between treatments.
A 4-year PhD thesis1 under a Baekeland mandate was the basis for this project. This mandate promotes the fruitful cooperation between university and industry.
